vermont: adorable, or TOO adorable?

On our first night we stayed in an airbnb south of Burlington, VT. Our lodging was a little garden shed with two cots in it; not being sarcastic when I say it was excellent. It was on a wooded farm with chickens and goats, and for breakfast we had goat's milk cheese on homemade bread and goat's milk on homemade granola, respectively.

(Note: pics are phone quality. My sincerest apologies.)

Snap petting a stinky yet friendly billy goat with weird horns
The same goat, looking photogenic
This goat jumped up into the window to say hello. It didn't look comfortable.
Molly was pretty stoked to see me this morning
But then she got bored
We also had a fun time at our pals' pre-wedding-day BBQ, where we met Scottish family members and drunk high school friends. The highlight was the ballpark nacho cheese, which I put on my hot dogs. No good photos from the evening, but there was a pretty enjoyable path mowed through a nearby field to get there, with signs pointing the way.

It was pretty obvious where to go; the signs seemed unnecessary.
Today: Philadelphia. Next, on to Virginia!
