headin' down georgia way

We left the Shenandoah Valley on Wednesday morning and headed down towards Atlanta. We started off with a short scenic detour along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a winding road which dips up and down and flops on either side of the Blue Ridge mountains. We stayed overnight at a Days Inn in North Carolina. The next morning we took a bunch more scenic roads to get to Beccah's Aunt and Uncle here in Atlanta last night (check our map on the right for more details about our route). Along the way we stopped for a memorable lunch in Asheville, NC and took a quick jaunt into Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Anyway, we've had two requests for more photos, so: less talk, more rock. We're being treated very well here in Georgia and have already had one great day of seeing the city, but those photos are going to have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, here are some pics from our trip down here.
